Trekking: Pithoragarh Sinla Pass Trek
This
exciting trekking route trails along a large portion of the Kailash - Mansarovar
route.
The trekker in the process, also, gets an exposure to the intriguing socio -
cultural life of the people living in the Chaudans, Byans, and Darma valleys.
Pithoragarh, also called 'Miniature Kashmir', is the base for treks to Jolinkong.
The route to Sinla Pass, is along a heavy blanket of snow, and from here, the
beautiful Chhota Kaikash peak is perennially in view.
Stage 1 :
Drive 144 kms from Pithoragarh to Pangu.
Stage 2 :
Trek 23 kms to Gala.
Stage 3 :
Trek 22 kms to Budi (2740 m).
Stage 4 :
Trek 17 kms to Gunji (3500 m).
Stage 5 :
Trek 18 kms to Kutti .
Stage 6 :
Trek 17 kms to Jolinkong.
Stage 7 :
Trek 4 kms to lake Parwati and back.
Stage 8 :
Trek 15 kms to Bedang via Sinla Pass.
